”We received a claim following storm damage to the roof in various locations which were not all visible from the ground, the property was a large block of flats (4 storey).
The managing agents obtained costs for scaffolding to undertake repairs which came in at a little over £50,000.
Capture were then contracted to undertake a drone photographic survey to pinpoint accurately the areas of damage, in order that targeted scaffolding could be costed and roof repairs commence. Off the back of the drone survey we received a revised quotation for scaffolding the areas that actually required it which came in at circa £11,000, realising a huge saving of around £40K for the clients and insurers.”
